VACANCY – Midday Assistant
We currently have a vacancy for a Midday Assistant, supervising the children both in the dinner halls and outside during the lunch period. The rate of pay is £9.43 per hour. The hours are 6 per week (Monday to Friday -12.00pm to 1.00pm or 12.15pm to 1.15pm).
We are also looking to appoint casual Midday Assistants to work “as and when” required.

Salary: Actual salary £13,223 per annum (FTE £20,493)

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to work alongside our Catering Manager and busy Catering team, assisting in all aspects of preparing the school meals for the day; we currently serve approximately 400 school meals every day.
The role includes providing assistance with the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages, maintaining high levels of hygiene standards, cleaning duties (including all equipment and machines) within the kitchen and dining areas, and deputising for the Catering Manager when required.
The successful candidate will be someone who is hard working, has a good understanding of food hygiene and knows the basics of food preparation. You will have excellent communication skills with both adults and children, and be able to work as part of a team.
Previous catering experience in a similar environment would be preferred.
