School Development Priorities
The school development plan is based on underlying values and principles and is a means of moving closer towards the achievement of the school’s vision.
In particular 4 principles underpinning the drive for whole school development have been identified:
A: To continue to value and promote the physical, emotional and social well being of all members of the school community: staff, pupils and parents
B: To ensure we have a valued and well led, highly skilled workforce, motivated to achieve the best for our pupils.
C. To provide children with rich, diverse and challenging, learning opportunities that enable them to achieve and exceed their potential, develop confidence and equips them for ‘their world’.
D: To develop and promote the positive role of the school in the community by making links with other schools and organisations: locally, nationally and globally.
We are continually self evaluating to ensure we are fully meeting the needs of our children. In doing so, we set ourselves priorities which we use to focus our school development.
