Parents Association of Grove Wood Primary School
(PAGWPS)
The Support Group need your help and we are desperate for new volunteers!
We play an important part in your children’s education by raising money to fund projects or additional items that the school funding does not stretch to.
In the last year we have raised funds:
- To provide a Bird Hide in wildlife area
- To provide school with new curtains in both Halls
- New Nativity Costumes for Reception children & Key Stage 1 children
- Sweets for Reception pupils at Christmas
- Rug for Outdoor use
- Leavers Assembly – Year 6, refreshments
- Royal wedding mugs for each child
We have different events throughout the year that we need help with. This can be as simple as wrapping gifts, to manning inflatables or school discos or co-ordinating bags 2 schools. We understand that you may have work commitments or younger children and we will always accommodate this.
Males are important too! If your Husband, Partner, Brother, Dad or Grandad would be prepared to get involved, please supply their details too.
We appreciate that you help by putting your hands in to your pockets, but if you can spare us any time, be it occasional or on a more regular basis, please could you register your name and details with us. You do not have to join the Committee to help us – although we would love it if you would!
